AFRICA: Many Places, Many Faces

Museum of Natural History • Providence, RI • Spring 2009

Africa: Many Places, Many Faces is a new semi-permanent exhibit at the Providence, RI Museum of Natural History. My photography from the Dogon Region of Mali during my travels in 2007 is featured.

This new exhibit (explores) the culture, art, lifestyle, and ecology of a diverse array of African peoples. By drawing connections between people and their environments, the exhibit will explore the link between culture and nature, expose the vast diversity of the African continent, and examine the individual cultures that influence our own society."
